Private Flute Lessons & Music Performance

Nurture a love of music

My flute students not only achieve their goals – from thriving in a school band program, to preparing for auditions and competitions, to playing for the love of it – but they also cultivate confidence, creativity and enthusiasm along the way.

In lessons, my students discover:

  • More confidence, enthusiasm and FUN as they see their skills improve

  • Encouragement from a dedicated coach who challenges them to fulfill their potential

  • Greater artistry and self-expression through music

  • They have someone on their team who wants to explore music that excites them

  • A new spark of creativity and deepening love of music

STUDIO PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES

As an added benefit to my students, I provide performance opportunities including recitals, house concerts, studio workshops, and outreach performances at retirement communities.

“Taking lessons with Melissa has greatly helped my daughter progress much faster and she stands out now in her sectional at school. Her band director commented how my daughter’s playing has even motivated the others in her section to practice more!”

“At her visit to my elementary band flute class, Melissa connected well with my elementary musicians. My student's playing has improved since her visit and they still enjoy playing the exercises she taught them. I would highly recommend Ms. Lindon as a flute teacher!”

“Melissa is a teacher who knows how to develop a musician out of her students. She is challenging and experienced, but allows her students to enjoy the process through interesting music and leaving room for fun.”
