
Yoga Bio
Melissa Lindon approaches yoga as an opportunity to find relaxation and balance in a busy life, cultivate flexibility of body and mind, and reconnect to our innate joy.
A longtime yoga practitioner, Melissa brings inspiration to her teaching from the rich traditions of Anusara, Para Yoga, Svaroopa and Kripalu styles of yoga. She completed 500 hours of study with Jenny Otto and Lynn Matthews at Golden Heart Yoga in Annapolis, and continues her studies with Para Yoga founder Rod Stryker.
Melissa teaches regular ongoing classes, including Yoga 1, Yoga 1 Plus, Yoga 1-2 & Meditation, and a Gentle Svaroopa-style class, in Columbia, Maryland at The Yoga Center of Columbia and Awaken Wellness. Her workshop offerings include Partner Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Yoga for Musicians. She seeks to make yoga practical and fun, and her teaching style is compassionate and light-hearted.
